This SOLID CRYSTAL Opal is from the Lightning Ridge mining fields in Australia.

This opal is very lively, flaming with very bright and very crisp colours, across the large face. Candy red moves in large rolling flashes with orange, green and beautiful mauve purple playing between the reds. The colour is always moving in rolling flashes that sweep with raging fire across the opal at the slightest movement.
