This SOLID SEMI BLACK Opal is from the Lightning Ridge mining fields in Australia.

Red dominates the show, glowing warmly over the face. Under the red is a gentle hint of blue and green, contrasting the red. The red gently moves all over the opal, turning on a magnificent play-of-colour from every angle.
