This SOLID SEMI BLACK Opal is from the Lightning Ridge mining fields in Australia.

This is a stunning opal, capturing some lovely shades of bright red and orange. The red and orange fire moves in rolling flashes with green and a touch of blue chasing the red as the fire moves over the rolling flashes. The play-of-colour sparkles even in low light.
