This SOLID SEMI BLACK Opal is from the Lightning Ridge mining fields in Australia.

The fire in this opal is bright golden green and purple. The colours roll in large chasing rolling flashes over the face of the stone. Moving from the brightest golden green followed by purple and back to green.
