This SOLID SEMI BLACK Opal is from the Lightning Ridge mining fields in Australia.

Flames of vibrant orange, yellow and green continually move in large rolling flashes, showing a brilliant display of never ending beauty. Bunsen-burner blue also moves over the opal between the neon fire. The slightest twist of the opal changes the whole play-of-colour, continually changing from orange to green. The flames continually move, glowing very bright and hot. Even in the lowest of lighting, this opal still shines bright.
