This SOLID SEMI BLACK Opal is from the Lightning Ridge mining fields in Australia.

Bright cherry red moves in rolling flashes together with blue and sparkling green, the colours is constantly changing.

The colours jump over the face of the opal with always the red dominating the show. The slightest movement makes this opal come alive as the colours switch and change.
