This SOLID BLACK Opal is from the Lightning Ridge mining fields in Australia.

This beautiful opal is absolutely loaded with bright colours in an unusual pattern. Black opal is surrounded by very bright, gemmy colours. The fire ranges from cherry red to neon orange peacock blue and purple. The colours are always moving bright in rolling flashes as the opal is turned. The colourful show this stone puts on is spectacular to say the very least. Great in all lights.
