This SOLID SEMI BLACK Opal is from the Lightning Ridge mining fields in Australia.

This beautiful opal is absolutely loaded with bright colours in a beautiful ribbon pattern. The fire ranges from cherry red to bright orange with a touch of green and blue in between. The colours are always moving bright in rolling flashes as the opal is turned. The colourful show this stone puts on is spectacular to say the very least.
