This SOLID BLACK CRYSTAL Opal is from the Lightning Ridge mining fields in Australia.

The fire in this opal is bright and strong forest green and violet. The colours roll in a rolling flashes all over the face of the stone. Moving from the brightest turquoise green to a beautiful strong forest green with a contrast of violet. A golden glow radiates across the green as the opal is rotated.
