This SOLID SEMI BLACK Opal is from the Lightning Ridge mining fields in Australia.

Orange and green colours glide relentlessly in neon rolling flashes as the opal is rotated. Between these colours are hints of purple mauve to contrast the play-of-colour. The opal has a lively colour play that moves brightly with the slightest movement.
