This SOLID CRYSTAL Opal is from the Lightning Ridge mining fields in Australia.

Orange and green colours glide relentlessly in rolling flashes across the medium dome of the opal. Between these colours are hints of soft mauve to contrast the play-of-colour. The opal has a lively colour play that moves brightly with the slightest movement.
