This SOLID BLACK Opal is from the Lightning Ridge mining fields in Australia.

A gorgeous blue on black....

The fire in this opal is of the richest royal blue.

Having several colour patches, the burning colour moves in rolling flashes across the face of the opal. Continuous play-of-colour at every angle, all on a N1 background. Great in low light too.
