This SOLID SEMI BLACK Opal is from the Lightning Ridge mining fields in Australia.

The fire in this opal is of the brightest colours, ranging from the brightest red, orange, yellow, green and blue. The play of colour moves brilliantly across the opal as it is turned in a Floral pattern with the colour patches showing a Chaff pattern also. This ever-changing display of colour makes for an interesting and lively opal. Great in all lights.
