This SOLID BLACK Opal is from the Lightning Ridge mining fields in Australia.

Red and orange dominate the show followed by bright yellow and green on a background of deep ocean turquoise blue. The fire moves across the face in rolling flashes, turning on a magnificent play-of-colour from every angle. On turning, the bright fiery colours jump from colour to colour. Great in all lights.
