This SOLID SEMI BLACK Opal is from the Lightning Ridge mining fields in Australia.

This beautiful opal is absolutely loaded with bright colours. A Broad Rolling Flash of bright red moves from side to side. On another angle the broad rolling flash changes to show red through to blue and ultra violet, each colour chasing the other. The gemmy play-of-colour is bright always changing to another spectacular display. The colourful show this stone puts on is spectacular to say the very least. Great in all lights.
