This SOLID SEMI BLACK Opal is from the Lightning Ridge mining fields in Australia.

Neon bright red, orange and yellow fire moves in large rolling flashes over the opal. Dominated by red, the play-of-colour is dynamic, contrasted by a beautiful peacock blue, neon green and purple. This would make a gorgeous ring or pendant. On rotation, the colours move swiftly, rolling with vibrant colour. Deep rich colour even in the lowest lighting.
