This SOLID BLACK Opal is from the Lightning Ridge mining fields in Australia.

Blood red and a touch of orange and green moves bright and rich on clean rolling flashes. The opal has a lively colour play that moves brightly with the slightest movement with the colour jumping quickly all over the face of the opal. Constantly changing play of colour that works very well in all lights.
