This SOLID CRYSTAL Opal is from the Lightning Ridge mining fields in Australia.

The fire in this opal is bright golden green and turquoise over ocean blue. The colours move bright and sparkly over the face of the opal, the colours also move inside the high dome of the opal, throughout the thick gem layer, showing a very 3-dimensional show. A golden glow radiates across the green as the opal is rotated. Great in all lights.
