This SOLID BLACK Opal is from the Lightning Ridge mining fields in Australia.

This opal is very lively, flaming with very bright and very rich colours, moving in large rolling flashes. Neon fire red is the main colour in this opal with a touch of orange and bright green over a turquoise background. All are vibrant and swap and change with the slightest movement. The red colours cover the majority of the face, stealing this magnificent show.
